Group Finance Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will strengthen the Group’s consolidated financial reporting and support external audit readiness. You will partner with regional teams to analyse performance, prepare board packs, and ensure timely, accurate statutory accounts. The post sits within the Financial Reporting team and emphasizes process improvement and collaboration across functions. You will help drive high-quality financial reporting in a fast-paced environment while upholding the company’s values of integrity, caring and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present consolidated board reporting and analyse performance with regional teams
• Support management accounts production, including variance analysis and loan reconciliation
• Assist in external statutory accounts production, audit readiness, and filing
• Build relationships with regional finance teams and external auditors for timely reporting
• Drive finance projects and continuous improvement across the Group
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance on group policies
• Review and enhance financial reporting processes from start to finish

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• Experience preparing or reviewing IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 statements
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working with external auditors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• High attention to detail and initiative to implement change
