About the Role
Were recruiting Logistics Operatives to support a world-renowned automotive manufacturer in Woking. Youll play a key role in ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to support the production of high-performance sports cars. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisation and a commitment to maintaining world-class stock accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety compliance and incident reportingSafe loading/unloading of trailers using MHEAccurate receipt, inspection and documentation of incoming goodsUse of handheld scanners and SAP for real-time inventory transactionsStock put-away, consolidation and careful handling of partsPicking and supplying parts to production lines aligned to KPIsMaintaining logistics records and documentationUpholding 5S standards and clean as you go practicesConducting cycle counts, stock takes and investigating discrepanciesSupporting root cause analysis and corrective actionsEnsuring efficient stock management and proactive monitoringLiaising with Production, Quality and StoresManaging traceability of parts, including RTV itemsResponding quickly to lineside shortages and operational queries
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of inventory and logistics processesExperience in fast-paced manufacturing; automotive preferredSkilled in MRP, warehouse systems and SAPCertified and experienced in operating MHEConfident conducting cycle counts and resolving stock discrepanciesAble to meet KPIs and support continuous improvement
