Associate Mechanical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead mechanical building services projects from inception to delivery, acting as the main client contact and ensuring high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities

• Act as main client contact to ensure delivery of high-quality engineering solutions
• Lead and manage multiple mechanical building services projects from inception to completion
• Oversee project delivery within timeframes, budgets, and quality standards
• Mentor junior engineers and support their development
• Allocate resources across projects and manage team workload
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, standards, and legislation
• Contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships
• Assist in securing new work and maintaining project delivery reputation
• Undertake project reporting including fee forecasting and resource planning

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status preferred or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a building services consultancy
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services design
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams
