Certain Advantage are currently hiring for a SharePoint Developer on an initial 12-month contract basis.

The role is based in Peterborough and requires 3 days per week onsite, offering flexibility around the remaining days.

Working as part of the wider IT team and cross-regional Service Delivery function, you will act as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing both day‑to‑day support and driving improvements to business‑critical SharePoint solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SharePoint administration and technical support, resolving incidents and troubleshooting issues.
• Manage change requests and ensure the smooth operation of existing SharePoint environments.
• Support the development and enhancement of IT Service Management (ITSM) and project management tools built on SharePoint.
• Deliver SharePoint-based solutions to support wider business projects and process improvements.
• Work on the integration of business systems and tools into the SharePoint platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute to the continuous enhancement of SharePoint services.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver effective SharePoint solutions.

• Proven experience in SharePoint development and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to understand existing processes, identify improvements, and continuously develop knowledge.
• Experience supporting business‑critical SharePoint environments.
