We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a global manufacturing company; this is a hands-on role focused on Azure, networking, infrastructure and security.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad technical environment, leading projects, solving complex technical issues and helping to drive continuous improvement across cloud and infrastructure services. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting modern technology solutions, whilst acting as a senior technical escalation point and mentor to junior team members.
- Key Responsibilities Design, implement and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
- Manage Azure networking, security, governance and performance.
- Support enterprise networking including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and WAN connectivity.
- Administer Microsoft Intune and Entra ID environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Build automation solutions using PowerShell.
- Maintain and support SQL Server and Azure-based data services.
- Act as a senior technical escalation point for infrastructure, cloud and network issues.
- Contribute to cyber security initiatives and best practices.
- Lead technical projects and infrastructure improvements.
- Produce technical documentation and maintain operational standards.
- Mentor junior team members and support the development of the wider IT function.
