About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the smooth, efficient and timely running of our production operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring orders are completed to the required quality standards and deadlines, while maintaining a safe, organised and productive working environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Production Manager who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and taking ownership of production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day production operation.
- Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Lead, motivate and manage the production team effectively.
- Monitor production output, quality and efficiency.
- Ensure products are manufactured to the required specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to production processes and workflows.
- Manage production resources, materials and staffing levels effectively.
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and minimise production waste, downtime and inefficiencies.
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained and issues are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements and relevant regulations.
