We’re looking for an exceptional Engagement Director to lead large-scale client engagements, influence senior decision-makers, drive business growth, and deliver transformation that genuinely matters.
This is one of the most senior leadership opportunities within our Public Sector Business Unit, shape major public sector programmes, and play a key role in the continued growth of our business.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. For this role it is expected that you will work from the London, Telford or Worthing office 3 days per week.

Your skills and experience
- Delivery Excellence – Your track record in leading complex, high-value engagements (circa 15M annualised revenue) is matched by your sharp commercial instincts and proactive risk management. You thrive on turning challenges into opportunities for breakthrough results. You will have significant experience in programme, service and or transition management.
- Sector Knowledge – Youre a true public sector insider, with deep expertise in operating models, regulatory landscapes, and the unique demands of organisations. You anticipate change, navigate complexity, and bring insight that shapes strategy at the highest level.
- Business Development – You unlock new opportunities, build lasting partnerships, and consistently generate revenue by leveraging your extensive networks and a keen understanding of client needs.
- Leadership – You inspire high-performing teams to achieve more than they thought possible. Your leadership style is empowering and inclusive, enabling you to manage large-scale programs and nurture talent across a dynamic, matrixed organisation including off-shore development.
- Digital & Technology Acumen – Youre a digital transformation championfluent in agile and waterfall delivery as well as the latest technologies. You know how to harness innovation to drive efficiency, elevate citizen experiences, and future-proof public sector services.
- Stakeholder Influence – Your communication and influencing skills open doors at the C-suite and senior civil service levels. You build trust, shape decisions, and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders, turning vision into action.

Desirable Skills
- Experience leading public sector engagements, ideally in large government departments.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and frameworks.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance
- Relevant certifications (e.g. project/programme management, agile, Agile@Scale, SAFE, cloud, security, data).
