HV Cable Design Lead – Principal Engineer

Arup is seeking a highly experienced Lead / Principal Cable Design Engineer in Glasgow to provide technical leadership for HVAC and HVDC transmission cable systems. You will guide design teams, ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards, and oversee end-to-end design delivery for major electricity transmission projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive innovation, and contribute to tendering and cost optimisation while embracing Arup’s hybrid working model in the UK.
