Implementation Consultant | Financial Services Technology | London

I’m working with a leading financial services technology business that is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to join its Professional Services team.

This is a client-facing role for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on implementation experience and enjoys taking ownership of complex projects from discovery through to go-live.

The opportunity

You’ll lead end-to-end client implementations, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements, design solutions and ensure successful delivery.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead complex, end-to-end client implementations from inception through to go-live
• Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements gathering and solution design sessions
• Act as a key bridge between client business requirements and technical teams
• Configure solutions, validate data and support testing/UAT
• Deliver product demonstrations and engage directly with senior client stakeholders
• Identify and manage project risks, milestones and changing priorities
• Review project deliverables and maintain high-quality documentation and delivery standards
• Work closely with Solution Engineering to develop scalable client solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve Professional Services processes and implementation methodologies

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Implementation Consultant within financial services or a technology vendor
• Proven experience leading full-lifecycle implementations
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Excellent workshop facilitation and client-facing communication
• Experience engaging with senior/executive stakeholders
• Hands-on technical configuration experience, ideally within a CRM environment such as Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• A proactive, collaborative and delivery-focused approach

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience working with investment banks or capital markets firms
• Understanding of sell-side Sales, Research or Investor Relations workflows
• Experience working within financial markets technology
