Senior Credit Risk Analyst

SF Recruitment is working with an established and successful business to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst into their Finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Risk professional who enjoys getting into the detail of financials, assessing higher-value exposures and providing commercially balanced recommendations.

Working closely with the Head of Credit, you’ll be responsible for:

• Reviewing financial statements, management accounts and wider financial information
• Assessing creditworthiness and identifying potential financial or trading risks
• Managing a portfolio of higher-value credit exposures
• Making recommendations around credit limits and risk
• Supporting annual and ad-hoc credit reviews
• Producing monthly credit risk reporting and MI
• Identifying trends, emerging risks and areas requiring action
• Engaging directly with customers/members and their Finance teams
• Supporting improvements across credit processes, controls and reporting

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong Credit Risk, Credit Control or wider financial risk experience
• Confidence analysing financial statements and management accounts
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and confidence working with financial data
• The ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders
• A proactive, organised and hands-on approach

A CICM qualification would be advantageous but isn’t essential where there is strong relevant experience.

This would suit someone looking for a more analytical, commercially focused Credit Risk position with genuine ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders.
