A well-established manufacturing business in Poole is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
This is a genuinely hands-on role within a busy production environment, where you’ll be working across a good mix of mechanical, electrical and automated equipment rather than being limited to one area.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Reactive fault finding and breakdown response
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
- Diagnosing faults on automated production equipment
- Supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement
- Working closely with Production to reduce downtime
- Getting involved in improvement and engineering projects
The site is well invested, and there’s plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge across different areas of the plant.
What they’re looking for
You’ll ideally be a time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical skillset and solid fault-finding experience within manufacturing.
You don’t need to know the site or industry already — what’s important is that you’re hands-on, confident diagnosing faults and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
