Alternative Credit Investor is the ‘go to’ home of alternative credit, read by industry leaders on both sides of the Atlantic.
We are an online and print publication that reports on the alternative credit industry globally. Our readers include c-level executives at alternative credit managers, institutional investors and other allocators.
The magazine has seen substantial growth in recent years, across display advertising, commercial content and high-profile events including the Alternative Credit Awards.
We undertook a successful US expansion this year, hosting the inaugural Alternative Credit Awards North America in New York City, which attracted more than 250 delegates and multiple sponsors.
Our events portfolio also includes conferences, summits, roundtables and webinars throughout the year.
2027 will see the roll-out of further events, both in the US and the UK.
The company is based in United House, a Fora building located by Notting Hill Gate station.
The role:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and organised individual to head up our growing events series in the UK and the US.
The role will comprise oversight of content, speaker acquisition and overall project management of the events, as well as marketing and commercial (sponsorship and delegates), editorial and logistics.
The right candidate will be adept at managing end-to-end logistics, overseeing budgets and ensuring each event meets commercial and editorial objectives.
The role involves negotiating with venues and suppliers, coordinating speakers and sponsors, collaborating with editorial, sales, and marketing teams, and maintaining high standards of attendee experience.
The Head of Events will also track performance, report on key metrics and continuously refine the events strategy to expand reach, revenue, and industry impact.
We already have a strong delegate base but are looking for someone with private markets experience and their own contacts to bring to this role, to help build on our success to date and support our ambitious growth plans.
Demonstrated expertise in financial events management is essential.
The right candidate needs to be a self-starter who can hit the ground running, bringing fresh ideas to the role in terms of event concepts and how to grow our community.

Hybrid working model (Tuesday to Thursday in the office)
20 holiday days per year plus bank holidays
Office closed between Christmas and New Year (no holiday days required)
Remote working allowed for one week before Christmas and one week after New Year, as well as entire month of August
