Interim Fund Controller

We are working with an investment platform that needs an experienced Interim Fund Controller to step into a live environment and take ownership quickly.
The business is going through a period of increased activity, with greater pressure across reporting, liquidity and fund oversight. They do not need someone to simply maintain an established process. They need someone who can identify what is not working, tighten it up and ensure delivery stays on track.
The role
- Own the quarterly investor reporting process from start to finish
- Oversee the fund administrators and challenge the quality and accuracy of their work
- Work closely with the investment and portfolio teams on performance, cash flow and forecasting
- Manage liquidity, drawdowns and distributions across the fund
- Lead the relationship with auditors and other external stakeholders
- Improve the consistency, control and structure of the reporting process
The background
You will have operated as a Fund Controller or in a senior fund finance role within an investment manager.
You will understand fund reporting, cash flows, investor requirements and the practical mechanics of running a fund. More importantly, you will be comfortable joining a business where some areas need attention and taking control without significant support.
This would suit someone who is hands-on, commercially aware and able to make an immediate difference rather than spend the first few months observing.
