We are partnering with an established boutique investment manager to hire a proactive and tech-savvy Operations Analyst. The firm is working on several projects to make its operating model more scalable, so it needs someone who can contribute from day one.
This is a broad, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the investment platform. You will work closely with Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Finance and external service providers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocation, confirmation and settlement
- Processing and monitoring corporate actions
- Monitoring cash, positions, reconciliations and exception reports
- Investigating and resolving operational breaks, discrepancies and data issues
- Liaising with custodians, administrators and other service providers
- Maintaining operational records, controls and escalating risks where required
- Contributing to improvements across workflows, automation and processes
You will need a solid grasp of the investment and trade lifecycle, reconciliations and settlements. A couple of years’ relevant experience could be enough if you already understand the fundamentals. Experience with global equities is preferred, and familiarity with Indata, Enfusion or a similar PMS/OMS would be an advantage.
