Project Officer – Durham
Applications are invited for a 0.6FTE Project Officer to support implementation and evaluation of the Sunderland & South Tyneside Eyes on the Baby SUDI Prevention Project, which builds upon a similar work conducted in conducted in County Durham and Northumberland. The project involves coaching and supporting public health staff to set up, deliver and evaluate a multi-agency programme for reducing Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI) among vulnerable families across the two localities. Working with managers and frontline workers providing local authority services the post-holder will support the delivery of online training packages to the workforce, and support the core team in implementation and evaluation. The project is led by DISC Director Professor Helen Ball (Anthropology, Durham University)and the post-holder will work alongside the existing team at the Durham Infancy & Sleep Centre.
