Interim Group Reporting Manager – US GAAP

We’re working with a fast-paced, international business looking to appoint a Group Technical Accounting Manager on a contract basis.

Sitting within the Group Reporting team, this is a high-profile role supporting quarterly US GAAP reporting, technical accounting and external audit, while partnering with finance teams across the group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing technical accounting papers and position memos
• Supporting quarterly Group reporting and external reporting under US GAAP
• Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors
• Supporting UK statutory reporting under FRS 102
• Identifying control gaps and driving process improvements
• Advising on complex and ad-hoc accounting matters
• Supporting finance training and wider Group projects

What we’re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA / US CPA qualified or equivalent
• Circa 6+ years’ relevant experience
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience working across multiple GAAPs
• Proven experience preparing/reviewing technical accounting papers
• Strong external audit experience
• Listed company experience would be advantageous
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and delivering against demanding deadlines
