Claims Operations Manager

• Senior role with responsibility across UK & Europe, including Lloyd’s.
• Manage 3 direct reports across Vendor Management, Delegated Claims and Subrogation/Recoveries.
• Oversee internal and external audit, vendor relationships and delegated claims operations.
• Manage relationships with TPAs, loss adjusters, law firms and other external claims partners.
• Work closely with internal teams on bordereaux, reconciliation, administration and claims optimisation.
• Play a key role in an upcoming claims transformation programme, including implementation of a new claims system.
• Work closely with senior Claims leadership to develop and grow the Claims Operations function.
• A hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail.

Experience:

• Senior claims operations / claims management experience within Lloyd’s or the London Market.
• Strong experience in Delegated Claims and/or Vendor Management.
• Experience managing TPAs and other external claims service providers.
• Strong understanding of claims operations, controls, audit and governance.
• Someone who is commercially minded, proactive and able to pick up complex issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Experience with claims transformation, optimisation, data analytics or systems implementation would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across UK, European and international teams.
