An established industrial refrigeration specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Design Engineer to join its engineering team.

Working predominantly across food manufacturing, food production and temperature-controlled environments, you will design bespoke industrial refrigeration solutions from initial concept through to detailed design and project delivery.

The Role

• Design industrial refrigeration systems from concept through to detailed design
• Carry out refrigeration load / heat load calculations
• Select and specify refrigeration plant and equipment
• Undertake pipe sizing and develop refrigeration system layouts
• Work with ammonia (NH3), CO₂ and industrial refrigeration systems
• Liaise with clients, consultants, equipment manufacturers and suppliers
• Work closely with sales, estimating and project teams
• Provide technical support and problem solving throughout project delivery

The Candidate

• Strong background within industrial refrigeration design
• Experience with ammonia (NH3) and/or CO₂ refrigeration
• Competent with refrigeration calculations, equipment selection and system design
• Able to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications
