Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will strengthen and extend backend systems that fuse data, algorithms and infrastructure to support hardware-design workloads. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate hardware challenges into reliable Python services and scalable APIs. You will prototype and ship impactful solutions while mentoring peers. This is a chance to influence the platform that enables next-generation hardware design, at a Series A engineering team building a cutting-edge solution.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve backend systems across data models, algorithms, infrastructure and APIs
• Build modern Python services across a wide backend codebase
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand hardware-design challenges
• Prototype, test and deliver reliable, scalable solutions
• Support other engineers through pairing and technical guidance

Key requirements

• Electronic Engineering degree from a top/Russell group university or similar
• Strong software engineering experience with Python
• Architectural decision-making with high impact on previous projects
