Private Cloud Infrastructure Specialist (Storage)

Overview

As Private Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will advance the cloud platform with a focus on storage across hybrid environments. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure. You will translate internal needs into roadmaps while upholding secure-by-design principles. This role offers impact through cloud modernization supporting millions of customers and the company’s tech-driven transformation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels up to exec level to deliver the cloud platform
• Lead or contribute to analysis, design, and delivery of infrastructure systems
• Adopt agile ways of working and use tooling like JIRA
• Gather and interpret internal needs with Product Owners and Engineering to inform roadmaps
• Follow secure-by-design principles and contribute to security, automation, and engineering approaches
• Identify risks and articulate mitigation steps
• Operate as a self-starter to manage workload and plan next tasks

Key requirements

• Proven Storage Engineer with cloud environment expertise
• Expert knowledge of Storage/SAN technologies (Hitachi, Dell, IBM NetApp storage) and related networking components
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience supporting storage technologies
• Experience creating technical build documentation
• Solid knowledge of SAN, NAS, VSAN, iSCSI, and S3 technologies
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Solid knowledge of Networks / Firewall and Backup Technologies
• Experience with large-scale data migrations
