Software Engineer – Machine Learning (London, United Kingdom)

Overview

In this role you will help shape the future of AI-enabled design-to-code workflows at Figma. You will contribute to the Roundtripping initiative by building and evolving Dev Mode MCP tools, enabling ideation and production-ready code. You will collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers to deliver high-impact, user-facing AI features and tooling. This is a chance to accelerate ideas from concept to production in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment with strong culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve Dev Mode MCP tools and Make, Figma’s dev/design collaboration tools
• Contribute to new products within the agentic coding space
• Collaborate with designers, PMs and engineers to craft high-quality products
• Mentor peers and be mentored by colleagues across engineering, product and design
• Foster strong personal connections and contribute to Figma’s culture

Key requirements

• 3+ years leading large-scale engineering projects with high impact
• Experience with user-facing LLM and agentic product features
• Experience curating and developing eval sets and LLMs as judges
• Attention to detail, quality and craftsmanship
• High velocity with a focus on user impact
