Tech Data Operations Business Specialist

Overview

In this role you will act as the primary Product Specialist for the Systems domain, connecting Product Leaders with operational authoring lines to implement product definitions and governance. You will contribute to the AMM content and long-term innovation strategy within a transnational setup across Europe and India. You’ll oversee quality checks, guidance on authoring rules, and cross-functional coordination for scalable, continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to shape maintenance documentation and drive cross-site collaboration within Airbus Tech Data & Publications.

Responsibilities

• Represent the product to all authoring lines within the AMM perimeter across FR, UK, DE, ES and India
• Deploy and enforce product definitions and authoring rules through TD network alignment
• Provide technical guidance on applying authoring rules and contribute to TD documentation and long-term innovation strategy
• Conduct quality checks on closed work orders and validate rejection rationales
• Oversee creation of work orders during transversal topic deployments and track progress with Program Business OPS
• Take ownership of transverse delegated tasks, including corrective actions for production errors
• Lead initiatives for additional transversal topics, special projects, or new operational scopes as the role evolves

Key requirements

• Strong background or high adaptability to grasp complex systems concepts
• Ability to collaborate across multi-site, multi-cultural teams
• Excellent written and spoken communication to distill technical rules into guidelines
• Autonomy and initiative in problem solving and cross-functional alignment
• Quality-focused with attention to detail and process tracking
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is a plus
