Warehouse Assembly/Production Staff

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Operative to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble metal components to build storage cabinets and drawers
• Use handheld tools safely and effectively during the assembly process
• Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards before dispatch
• Handle and move materials within the warehouse
• Support general warehouse operations as needed.

You will need to have a hands-on approach with good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duration: This role offers ongoing work with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role pays £13.00 an hour. Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.We do not accept visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This role offers Monday to Friday work (full-time).You will work 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and on Fridays you will finish early at 13:30.

Experience & Qualifications

• – At least two years’ assembly operative experience.
• – Experience using hand tools.
• – Happy with some lifting/shifting of moderately heavy items.
• – Good written and spoken English.
• – Hard-working and positive attitude
• – Preferably have your own transport due to location and start times.
