Art Teacher – Chelmsford
A successful secondary school in Chelmsford is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join its department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who wants to inspire students through Art and Design while working within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
The successful Art Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons that encourage students to develop their artistic skills, confidence, creativity, and individual style.
You will be joining a department that values creativity and provides students with opportunities to explore a variety of artistic techniques, materials, and concepts. The school is well equipped and offers a positive environment for teachers to develop innovative lessons.
The position is suitable for both experienced Art Teachers and ECTs. The school is also happy to consider applications from appropriately qualified overseas teachers who hold a recognised formal teaching qualification.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Qualified Art Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4
- Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
- Ability to deliver engaging practical lessons
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- Legal ability to work within the UK
