FLT Driver Nightshift

FLT Drivers wanted for long term temporary contracts in Wallsend. Must hold a valid in date Counterbalance License and be able to provide certification. This position is Nightshift only. Working hours are: Monday – Thursday 10pm – 6am & Friday working a shorter shift finishing before midnight. £17.17 per hour. 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
• Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.
• Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach).
• Experience using an FLT.
• Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials.
