Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Sociology lessons across KS4-KS5
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Develop students’ analytical and essay-writing skills
Teach sociological theories, research methods and contemporary issues
Encourage discussion, debate and independent thinking
Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
Candidate Requirements
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong Sociology subject knowledge
Experience teaching secondary Sociology
Confidence teaching KS4 and KS5
Strong communication and organisational abilities
