Yard Operative

We are currently recruiting for the position of yard Operative for our client based in Bolton.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday (39 hours)- there may be the occasional requirement on a Saturday but this would be a rare requirement. This is a temporary ongoing position with the possibility of permanent employment in the future

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring the yard and workshop areas are kept tidy.




• Stacking and moving hoses and equipment in the yard area as required




• Cleaning equipment returned from hire with a Jet washer and checking for any repairs that may be required.




• Helping to load equipment off / on lorries – this is why preference for a Forklift License




• Making up equipment using Bench drill, Hand Drill and Stapler to ensure that there are adequate stock levels in the inventory.




• You will be working alongside an established team member who will provide the relevant training and guidance.
