Treasury Transaction Reporting Analyst

Overview

In this role you support regulatory reporting and controls within Starling’s Treasury Operations. You will ensure EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR compliance while aligning trade lifecycle activities with Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal. You’ll drive automation to reduce manual steps and enable smoother regulatory change delivery. This is a cross-functional, impact-focused role at a fast-growing digital bank, offering a chance to shape treasury controls and reporting at scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transaction reporting and controls for EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR frameworks
• Investigate and resolve reporting exceptions, breaks and unmatched trades while improving controls and audit trails
• Oversee full trade lifecycle across FX, Repo, Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives; coordinate with internal stakeholders
• Act as operational liaison to Treasury Front Office, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal for trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and booking queries
• Balance BAU duties with regulatory change initiatives and technology projects; drive process automation and support functional testing

Key requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in Treasury Operations, Trade Support or Regulatory Transaction Reporting in financial services or banking
• Deep knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR and SFTR reporting rules and flows; understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes
• Collaborative stakeholder management with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance and Legal
• Experience balancing BAU operations with regulatory change and workflow automation
