Sustainability Data & Analytics Manager

Overview

As Sustainability Data & Analytics Manager, you will lead the data, analytics, and technical foundations of BCG’s internal sustainability measurement systems to ensure data quality and actionable insights. You will guide cross-functional partners and regional stakeholders, driving reporting, governance, and scalable processes for the net-zero program. This role combines hands-on data work with strategic oversight to meet reporting obligations and enable carbon reduction initiatives. You will work closely with the Reduce Team, Data Tribe, and external partners to shape how we measure and report progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal GHG emissions data, reporting systems, and analytics products
• Partner with data engineering to enhance pipelines and sustainability data architecture
• Write technical specifications, review data models, and ensure code quality for data pipelines and dashboards
• Ensure end-to-end data governance and a single source of truth
• Develop monthly dashboards and analytics tools for carbon reduction insights
• Support inputs for annual carbon footprint calculation and coordinate external audit
• Engage with stakeholders to align requirements and drive adoption of reporting tools
• Line-manage a Senior Analyst and coach for growth

Key requirements

• 6+ years in analytics, data engineering, BI or related roles
• Hands-on with Snowflake, DBT, Airflow
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency
• Advanced data visualization experience (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Experience writing specifications, reviewing data models, supporting engineering workflows
• Proven project leadership and stakeholder management
• Excellent written and verbal communication
