Vickerstock are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing organisation on the appointment of a Talent & HR Advisor to join their established HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional looking for a varied role combining talent acquisition, employee relations and wider HR operations within a fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the wider HR team and managers across the business, you will support the full employee lifecycle while taking ownership of recruitment campaigns and providing practical HR advice and guidance.
The role offers an excellent balance between day-to-day operational HR and the opportunity to contribute to wider people initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a range of functions and levels, supporting hiring managers with sourcing, selection and interview processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, independently managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
- Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, internal moves, promotions, offboarding and associated HR administration.
- Provide advice and coaching to managers, ensuring HR processes are handled fairly, consistently and in line with UK employment legislation.
- Support payroll administration, employee queries, pensions and benefits processes.
- Maintain HR records, policies and people metrics while contributing to employee engagement, retention and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- We are interested in speaking with HR professionals who have experience across both recruitment and employee relations and are comfortable working within a busy operational environment.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
- Previous HR Advisory experience with exposure to employee relations case management.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Experience using HR information systems.
- Working knowledge of payroll administration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A degree in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- CIPD Level 3 or above.
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution or another industrial environment would be advantageous.
