Your new role
As Production Team Leader, you will lead a team of skilled technicians within a high-tech production environment, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you will support the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing function, drive continuous improvement activities, and ensure employees are developed to achieve their full potential.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate and develop a team of production technicians.Support the training and development of technical staff.Ensure daily production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Support problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and operational procedures.Track and report on production performance and KPIs.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Promote a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture.
What You’ll Need to SucceedHNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-tech production environment,
OR
ONC/OND qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-tech production environment.Experience supporting, coaching and training technical staff.Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.Ability to prioritise workloads and drive operational performance within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
