About you
- Minimum of Level 6 qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience working within the civil engineering sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Full, valid driving licence and own transportation to access site locations
- Strong technical background with experience in site supervision, progress reporting, and programme management
- Proficient in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including CDM 2015, and health and safety standards applicable to high-risk environments, particularly airports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Adept at problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
What you’ll do
- Lead and supervise civil reconfiguration and extension projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
- Support the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages of airport civil infrastructure projects
- Coordinate daily operations, managing subcontractors and liaising with airport departments to facilitate seamless project delivery
- Champion health, safety, and environmental practices across all project phases, ensuring full compliance with legislation and airport standards
- Identify potential risks early and implement strategies to mitigate issues that could impact project timelines or airport operations
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and lookahead schedules, communicating effectively with all stakeholders
- Participate in emergency response planning and out-of-hours work to support airport operational requirements when needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices in project delivery
