Reporting directly to the Design Project Director, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment that fosters growth and excellence.
About you
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing design within the construction industry
- A relevant qualification such as a Degree, MSc, or Post Grad Cert in Construction or Design
- Strong knowledge of design management, consultancy coordination, and construction regulations
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects effectively
- COSHH & CSR or CSCS Card.
- Flexible to work away from home for periods of a time
- Eligible to work within the UK.
What you’ll do
- Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards
- Manage and monitor consultants, designers, and specialist sub-contractors to deliver on time and within budget
- Develop and oversee design programmes, ensuring resource and schedule coordination
- Review and ensure all design information is clear, coordinated, and compliant with statutory requirements
- Engage in technical meetings, client updates, and project presentations to influence design decisions
- Drive sustainable design practices and innovate to maximise project value and minimise risks
- Ensure all purchase requisitions and orders are processed efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain traceability
