Product Lead

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow / Dundee, is currently looking to recruit a Product Lead until the 31st of March 2027 with potential to extend on a rate of £435/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in Glasgow / Dundee.

Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-discovery activity across multiple workstreams
• Work in partnership with Product Owners to shape product direction
• Engage stakeholders to define and validate user needs
• Identify and prioritise problems and opportunities
• Manage risks, dependencies, and assumptions
• Support development of the three-year delivery plan
• Ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery feasibility
• You should have experience in integrating products with other services
• You should have experience of planning and engaging with the appropriate stakeholders at various stages in the project
• You should have expertise in articulating the problem statement while also helping others to do so
• You should demonstrate experience in user centred design to meet needs across a variety of channels, bringing insight and expertise in how user needs have changed over time to ensure they’re met by the business
• You should be experienced in adapting the approach depending on the constraints
