Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating or Monday to Friday rota available
Start Time: Between 05:00 – 07:00 (depending on route)
About the Role
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Driver to join a trusted client on an ongoing placement in Birstall.
This is a multi-drop delivery role involving refrigerated vehicles and deliveries to food-related customer sites nationwide.
The Role
• Drive refrigerated vehicles, completing up to 18 drops per shift
• Use a tail lift to offload palletised goods
• Some handball with a trolley may be required
• Deliver to food-related customer sites nationwide
• Carry out safe loading and unloading at delivery points
• Use handheld terminals for delivery confirmations
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant at all times
Requirements
• Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence held for at least 2 years
• Recent commercial driving experience within the last 6–12 months
• Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Good understanding of vehicle checks and safe working practices
