Senior Backend Engineer — Fintech (Java, Spring Boot)

ARQ, a fast-growing fintech in London, is looking for a Backend Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable, secure backend systems powering cross-border money movement.

You will build REST APIs and microservices in Java/Spring Boot, contribute to greenfield projects, and work with Postgres, Docker, and CI/CD to ship robust features with quality and speed.

Office policy requires 3–4 days in-office; you’ll join a world-class team and have stock options and a discretionary bonus.
