Lead Children’s Residential Services Manager (3 Homes)

Barnsley Council is recruiting a Service Manager to lead three new children’s residential homes from inception within the Children in Care Sufficiency Strategy 2026–2030.

You will provide leadership across the portfolio, recruit Registered Managers, manage budgets and contracts, and build strong multi-agency partnerships to deliver high-quality, consistent case management. This is a unique chance to shape staffing models and practice standards as the homes come on line.
