Lead Software Engineer, Vice President

Overview

In this lead role, you will architect and deliver enterprise-grade, client-facing research platforms within our Markets Research technology team. You will push the Insights platform toward cloud-native, scalable, and highly interactive experiences, leveraging Generative UI/UX and AI-enabled features. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to transform how research products are designed, delivered, and consumed, driving measurable client impact and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to shape technology strategy and platform evolution at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and delivery of modern client-facing research platforms
• Drive cloud-native transformation and highly interactive experiences for the Insights platform
• Champion Generative UI/UX patterns for dynamic research delivery
• Design end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, and data/analytics
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable architectures
• Collaborate with research, product and business stakeholders on client-centric solutions
• Incorporate data visualization, data analytics and Generative AI features
• Provide technical leadership to global engineering teams and enforce DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices
• Advise on technology strategy and platform evolution

Key requirements

• Enterprise-grade, client-facing web applications experience
• Strong AWS cloud-native architecture, microservices and event-driven design
• Hands-on frontend expertise (React, Angular, or Vue) with performant, data-driven UIs
• Backend experience (Python, Java, Node.js) and scalable data pipelines
• Experience with data/analytics platforms and large-scale data handling
• Exposure to Machine Learning and Generative AI in products
• DevOps, CI/CD, production operations understanding
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology initiatives and influence stakeholders
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
