As a Senior AI Software Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software, you lead research and development of cutting-edge AI for the Teamcenter Bill of Materials portfolio. Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of state-of-the-art AI models for Design and Manufacturing challenges within the Teamcenter BOM portfolio
- Design, prototype, and build novel model architectures for product enhancement
- Architect and implement Generative AI agents for enterprise workflows
- Build robust, automated training pipelines enabling rapid experimentation and retraining at scale
- Define and run evaluation frameworks to ensure model quality and reliability
- Translate ideas into patentable concepts and shipped features in collaboration with engineers and domain experts
- Mentor engineers and uphold high technical standards across research, experimentation, and productionization
Key requirements
- Strong track record delivering advanced AI systems from research through production
- Deep hands-on expertise in modern AI including LLMs, generative AI, and agentic architectures
- Experience designing novel model architectures and rapid iteration toward measurable outcomes
- Experience with automated training pipelines, orchestration, and scalable evaluation
- Practical experience applying reinforcement learning in real product or research settings
- Excellent Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals
