Overview

In this role, you will support the Commercial and Construction team, handling renewal and new business while building strong client relationships. You will interact with senior colleagues and act as a key contact within the services team, ensuring accurate invoicing, mid-term adjustments, and timely client queries. Responsibilities

• Manage renewal and new business for construction insurance within the Commercial and Construction team
• Serve as a main point of contact in the services team for client queries and coordination
• Handle invoicing, mid-term adjustments, and general servicing tasks
• Maintain and develop good working relationships with colleagues across levels (Senior Account Handlers, Account Executives, Business Developers, Supervisors)
• Proactively manage workloads to ensure high-quality written and verbal communications and processes
• Leverage knowledge of construction insurance to analyse information and support client decisions
• Utilise Acturis (preferred) and Excel to support underwriting and administration
• Strive to meet and exceed targets and contribute to department expansion

Key requirements

• Experience as a Construction Account Executive within an insurance broker
• Acturis experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Excel knowledge is helpful
• Knowledge of Construction or Property and Liability essential
• Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret information
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
