Full Stack Engineer, Money Movement

Overview

As a Full-stack Software Engineer at Stripe, you will scope and lead technical projects to scale new products, designing and maintaining UIs and APIs. You’ll collaborate with partners to launch features and align decisions with Stripe’s strategic initiatives, while choosing between reusing infrastructure or building bespoke solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally to develop both short- and long-term roadmaps, delivering high-quality, user-friendly products that move the business forward. This role sits at the heart of Stripe Treasury under the Direct Surfaces Team, shaping how businesses manage money.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead technical projects to enable product evolution and scale
• Design, build, expand and maintain UIs, APIs, and services
• Collaborate with partners to design and launch new features
• Align technical decisions with Stripe’s strategic initiatives while addressing emerging business needs
• Coordinate with engineers across the company to decide when to reuse infrastructure vs. build bespoke solutions
• Develop and execute short- and long-term roadmaps with business and user-focused tradeoffs

Key requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience with high-quality code and infrastructure
• Experience delivering great user experience and ease of use in features/products
• Understanding of best practices for building UIs and APIs
