Overview

In this role you design and embed Experian’s global ICFR framework to align with leading-practice SOX standards. You partner across Finance Control Towers, IT Controls and business partners to drive consistency and efficiency in the financial control environment. You will lead control transformation programs, simplify controls and enhance performance through automation and analytics, translating project outcomes into scalable governance routines.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and embed the global ICFR framework aligned to SOX
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance Control Towers, IT Controls, Governance and Business Partners
  • Drive control transformation programs to reduce duplication and improve effectiveness
  • Advance continuous improvement using automation, analytics, and best-practice methodologies
  • Translate programme outcomes into scalable BAU standards, tools and governance routines

Key requirements

  • Strong experience in Financial Controls, SOX, ICFR, Internal Audit or related controls environment
  • Understanding of control frameworks, design and operating effectiveness; proven embedding of sustainable controls
  • Experience partnering with Finance Control Towers, Shared Service Centres or global process owners
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to standardise and optimise controls
