Supply Chain Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead and optimise procurement and supply chain operations for a Glasgow-based engineering manufacturer known for high-precision components. You will ensure materials flow, maintain supplier relationships, and drive cost control while collaborating with production, engineering and logistics to achieve operational excellence. The role focuses on sourcing, inventory management and continuous improvement within Lean manufacturing, handling high-value, multimodal shipments. This is a strategic position with a meaningful impact on delivery quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise procurement and supply chain operations

Key requirements

• Engineering and technical background, preferably in aviation or defence
