Overview
In this role you will join the Real Estate Finance sub-team within Stephenson Harwood’s Property department to advise lenders on real estate aspects of finance transactions. You work closely with cross-border teams and benefit from structured training and development. You help manage property due diligence, conditions precedents, and landlord-tenant matters, while supporting insolvency-related real estate issues. Responsibilities
- Act as property lawyer for banks/lenders on real estate aspects of Real Estate Finance loans
- Perform property due diligence (title review or property reports)
- Assist with property-related Conditions Precedents (completion undertakings/mechanics)
- Handle lender requests for borrower consents (e.g., new occupational leases)
- Support insolvency/restricting group on property matters for receivers/administrators
- Advise on standard real estate matters (acquisitions/disposals)
- Participate in ongoing training and development within the team

- Experience at a firm with a highly regarded real estate practice
- Proven track record in handling relevant matters at appropriate level
