Overview

Join Amazon Web Services as a Logistics Specialist at our data centres near the Greater Western London area. You will coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, maintain accurate inventory, and support parts fulfillment for Data Centre teams. Expect travel up to 50% within the region while upholding strict safety and quality standards. You’ll handle shipments, reverse logistics, and data entry, contributing to the uptime of a global cloud platform through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Centre Operations Technicians, Engineers, Rack Install, Infrastructure Delivery and internal teams to fulfill parts quickly and accurately
• Coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries and liaise with internal vendors, couriers, and inventory planning teams
• Receive and ship parts, keep inventory system up to date and accurate
• Receipt and stowing of Inventory & non-Inventory items in procurement system; resolve invoice discrepancies
• Perform accurate data entry and address questions from peer organizations
• Execute stock re-balancing via transfers between locations locally and globally to optimize stock availability
• Manage inventory, perform cycle counts, optimize storage space, and ensure workspace safety and organization
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and projects based on business needs
• Handle Reverse Logistics (RMA) and interface with vendors for replacements

Key requirements

• Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, stock control, maintenance and reverse logistics
• Experience using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) (preferred)
