Project Engineer

Overview

In this role you will apply engineering principles to develop solutions for complex challenges and support safety, quality and regulatory evidence. You will lead qualification activities, perform technical reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose designs. You’ll work within the Radar team to evolve radar capabilities and deliver robust, technically sound outcomes. Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise to develop solutions and resolve complex technical challenges
• Lead qualification and assurance activities, supporting robust safety case evidence
• Identify lifecycle issues and drive change and continuous improvement
• Conduct technical reviews, verification activities, and validation of engineering outputs
• Develop compliant designs with evidence for safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, communicating progress, risks and recovery plans

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified in engineering or equivalent experience
• CEng status or working towards professional accreditation
• Broad, multidisciplinary technical knowledge with ability to apply engineering judgement
• Analytical mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development
