Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you own end-to-end delivery of real-time video, data and AI analysis on a sports content platform. You’ll work in a small, high-trust team focused on rapid, autonomous delivery and robust systems. You’ll shape architectures, manage complex pipelines and push for high-quality, secure, performant software. This is an AI-native engineering environment where you’ll leverage modern tooling to drive impact. You’ll join a mission to advance real-time analytics in live sports with scalable cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

• own end-to-end delivery of real-time video, data, and AI analysis on the platform
• design and implement scalable, low-latency pipelines and architectures
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality features
• enforce code quality, security, and performance practices
• integrate AI/LLM capabilities into products and workflows
• maintain and evolve cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and related tooling
• advocate automation to reduce manual work and increase productivity
• stay current with rapid technology advancements and apply them to the product

Key requirements

• polyglot mindset with strong Java 21 backend proficiency
• Front-end experience with SolidJS (or React/Vue/Svelte with willingness to switch)
• experience integrating and building products with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok, etc.)
• daily use of AI tools for productivity and AI workflow development
• engineering rigor: clean, tested, documented code with security and performance in mind
