Construction Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end infrastructure projects in a regulated environment, driving timely, compliant delivery. You will operate in a cross-functional setting, coordinating clients, supply chains, designers and consultants to ensure robust project controls. The position emphasizes NEC4 ECC contract frameworks, CEMAR tracking, and proactive problem solving to keep projects on track. You will work mainly on site with hybrid support, contributing to secure and responsible delivery in the nuclear/defence sector. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects from planning to close-out with on-time, compliant delivery
• Manage projects under NEC4 ECC including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, instructions, programme controls and change management
• Utilise CEMAR or similar systems to track contractual processes
• Integrate cost, risk, programme and reporting for seamless project oversight
• Identify critical activities, dependencies and constraints to drive delivery
• Act as primary liaison for clients, supply chain, designers and consultants
• Maintain collaborative yet commercially disciplined working relationships
• Provide leadership and ensure compliance in nuclear/defence or highly regulated environments

Key requirements

• Minimum HNC in Construction/Engineering
• Strong enabling/infrastructure project delivery experience
• Demonstrable NEC4 ECC project management experience
• Strong project controls experience linking programme, cost, risk, and reporting
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction to close-out
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
• Strong communication, reporting, leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in nuclear, defence or highly regulated environments is desirable
• Experience with CEMAR or similar NEC contract management systems desirable
• Eligible to work in the UK; SC clearance is advantageous
