Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

In this role you will drive the design and development of new products from concept to manufacture within a small, autonomous team at an innovative startup. You will lead mechanical design efforts across the full lifecycle, applying R&D, CAD, testing, and documentation to deliver impactful solutions. The position offers meaningful scope to shape products that improve lives, with a fast-paced roadmap and cross-functional collaboration. You will contribute to ongoing innovation and product launches in a critical healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

• R&D and concept development
• 3D CAD design and modeling
• performing calculations and tolerancing
• documentation and design records
• test, development, verification and validation
• transfer of designs into manufacturing
• driving innovation across the full design lifecycle

Key requirements

• Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – SolidWorks (or similar)
• Pharma / Containment / Aseptic industry experience
• GD&T
• FMEA
• Full lifecycle product design and development
