Senior .NET developer (with Snowflake)

Overview

In this role you will design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that underpin a Snowflake data platform. You will work closely with data engineers and architects to enable continuous delivery, environment consistency, and operational excellence. You will implement monitoring, security, and compliance practices to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data workflows. This is a hands-on DevOps role that shapes deployment patterns and drives a resilient, high-performing data platform at scale.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: design and build .NET solutions with Snowflake engineers; act as senior SME for quality reviews
• CI/CD & Automation: build/maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform components; automate deployment, testing, and promotion; integrate version control and release management
• Snowflake Enablement: collaborate with data engineers to optimize deployment patterns for Snowflake workloads
• Monitoring & Reliability: implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; ensure high availability and troubleshoot production issues
• Security & Compliance: embed security practices; manage secrets and access controls; support audit/compliance needs
• Collaboration & Best Practices: promote DevOps culture; define deployment/branching standards; contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• Very strong experience in .NET or platform engineering roles as a senior developer
• Experience with at least one Snowflake implementation and hands-on Snowflake understanding
• Proven use of infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of version control (Git) and release management practices
• Experience supporting data platforms or data engineering teams
• Understanding of ELT/ETL pipelines and data workflows
